Virginia Shaffer leads Tide to Table Presentation at the National Arts Club in Gramercy Park

On Friday, February 24th 2023, Virginia presented at the National Arts Club in Gramercy Park, New York, as a part of the NAC's Culinary Arts program.

The presentation, Tide to Table: Celebrating America’s Oysters explored modern-day aquaculture practices and new trends in oyster appreciation. The evening’s oysters were sponsored by Fishers Island Oysters and North Sea Oyster Co, and were expertly shucked by James Geoghegan, a nationally ranked oyster shucker. The evening was attended by over 150 New Yorkers.
