Virginia Shaffer a speaker at OMG Oyster Educators Summit, New York City

On January 29, 2025, Virginia spoke at the Oyster Master Guild's Educator's Summit, an event "designed for business leaders and hospitality professionals dedicated to developing oyster specialization." The Summit covered valuable topics around "business growth, operational excellence, and triple bottom-line results."

Virginia's presentation was titled, "Savoring Maine: The Role of Merroir in Culinary Tourism," which showcased how key Oyster Master Guild concepts were being applied in Lady Oyster's gastronomic experiences in Maine.
