Maximize your time on the coast! Our half-day seafood adventure combines the best of our experiences into one afternoon.
We like to call it, “The Trio.”
THE ITINERARY:
4:00 PM: We’ll kick it off with an expert-guided oyster and wine tasting on our panoramic rooftop (12 oysters and accoutrements with two wine pairings)
5:30PM: Captain Joe will make you a freshly-made lobster roll, with lobsters sourced from our next-door neighbors, Small Point Fisheries!
6:00-7:30PM: We’ll top off the day with a sunset cruise that’ll take you to the oyster farm. We'll have the chance to discuss all you’d like to know about aquaculture!
Our half-day adventures are a maximum of 6 people each day. This is an immersive, intimate experience that gives you a backstage pass to Maine’s freshest seafood and working waterfronts.

MEET YOUR EXPERTS
Virginia Shaffer is a food writer and Oyster Master Guild Certified™️ Oyster Specialist who has written and studied oysters for over 8 years. She holds a B.A. in International Studies and a certificate in Gastronomic Tourism by Le Cordon Bleu in France. Virginia has led oyster appreciation nights at prestigious venues like the National Arts Club in Gramercy Park, NY.
Capt. Joe Jerome is a Registered Maine Guide, a Master Captain, and shellfish aquaculture expert. He also offers fishing charters in Maine, and works for the Basin Oyster Project teaching K-12 groups about shellfish reef regeneration.

You'll find Virginia & Captain Joe waiting for you at "The Store," a gray dockside building as you head down the hill! There's a small parking lot next to the lounge. Enjoy breathtaking views of the neighborhood's coastline and working waterfront!
